What is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health assessment?
If you are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, you can get a health check at your local GPGeneral Practitioner or health service. This health check is 当患有 and can help you find information you need to know about your health.
Having health checks can help prevent small health problems turn into big ones. You can also ask your doctor questions you’re worried about or need help with.
The health check is free, and you can get it done every 9 months. If you prefer to not go in person, you can ask whether they offer phone appointments.
