ما هو؟

It’s normal to bruise or bleed after an injury. Abnormal bleeding or bruising is when you bruise too easily or bleed a lot after minor cuts. Sometimes you might bleed spontaneously (without an injury or known cause). You may get nose bleeds, have heavy or prolonged periods, or bleed a lot after brushing your teeth or flossing. Some people develop tiny red or purple dots on their skin.

Many disorders can cause abnormal bleeding and bruising. Common causes include:

  • Platelet disorders
  • الأدوية
  • Liver disease
  • Blood vessel or connective tissue diseases

Bleeding disorders can be genetic or develop by chance. There are many treatment options available. Treatment will depend on the reason for the bleeding disorder as well as other health and individual factors.
