What is epistaxis?
Epistaxis is another name for nose bleeds. It is a common problem in both children and adults. Usually the bleeding comes from an area at the front of the nose called Little’s area.
Chảy máu mũi có thể xảy ra do ngoáy mũi, xì mũi mạnh, hắt hơi, ho hoặc bị tổn thương. Đôi khi, nhiễm trùng hoặc sử dụng thuốc xịt steroid có thể gây chảy máu mũi. Ở trẻ dưới 2 tuổi, chảy máu mũi không phổ biến và cần phải đi khám bác sĩ đa khoa.
