A dislocated finger is a common hand injury. It happens when the bones in the finger are moved from their normal position. It can happen in any part of the finger, but mostly in the in the middle joint of the fingers. A dislocated finger may happen after force is applied to the end of the finger, or when you stretch your finger too far. You won't be able to bend or straighten your finger if it is dislocated. You should see your GP as soon as you can if you think your finger is dislocated
